Alejandra Dozal, LPC
As a client centered therapist, my primary commitment is to grow a therapeutic relationship based on acceptance, empathy and understanding. I believe we all have a remarkable capacity for self-healing and personal growth and that the essence of working with people is to be present and to be human with another human being.
As a traditional medicine apprentice, I dedicate my life advocating for the holistic well being of the person. My values are founded in honesty, respect, and genuineness and the communion between mind, body and spirit.
I like to spend my time at home creating art. By heart, I am little hippie and a little hood.

My Credentials
I am Licensed Professional Therapist in the State of Texas, and a Registered Play Therapist with the Association for Play Therapy. I am also a National Certified Counselor. I hold an Associates in Criminal Justice, a Bachelors in Psychology, and Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling.
I have serviced a variety of populations, in its majority sexually abused children, and adults utilizing a client centered, trauma informed care approach, play therapy, and the expressive arts.
